Build steps

  1. Cut the plywood back, the two ends (one corner cut at a slope) and the floor tray.
  2. Screw the ends to the back and the tray between the ends 1 in from the bottom.
  3. Screw the two 2x2 rails between the ends. Staple the cloth over both rails and the slope.
  4. Screw the rack to a stud 24 in off the floor, or higher for goats, with 2.5 in screws.
  5. Fill from the top. Pull the hay through the 1/2 in cloth: the leaves drop in the tray, not on the floor.
