Build steps

  1. Cut three uprights to 94 in and twelve arms to 36 in, with a 10° bevel on the outer end of each arm.
  2. Find the wall studs 16 in on center, and screw each upright to a stud, 46 in apart, with three 3 in lag screws.
  3. Screw the arms flat to the front of each upright at 14, 38, 62 and 86 in, with two 3 in screws, and a scrap block under each.
  4. Lay the lumber flat on the arms, longest at the bottom. A 2x4 bar at the end stops boards from sliding off, if you like.
