Build steps
Cut the legs and rails from pressure-treated 2x4s. Screw the top and low rails between the legs to make two frames, front and back, then join them with the end rails.
Screw the mid brace across the middle under the top.
Cut the top in two pieces so the seam lands on the brace. Cut a 10 in hole in the second piece, 36 in from the end, with a jigsaw and sand the edge.
Seal both faces of the plywood with two coats of exterior paint so it wipes clean.
Set the 5 gal bucket under the hole on the lower shelf. Screw the table to a stud or stake it so it does not rock.
Before you start
Work height of 36 in suits most adults; raise the legs for a tall worker. Clean with 1 tbsp of bleach per gallon and rinse.
Keep the table in the shade, near running water, and away from the coop and the garden.
Check local rules for on-farm poultry processing before you sell anything.
