Build steps

  1. Build the base from pressure-treated 2x4s on edge and screw the 3/4 in plywood floor on, with 1/2 in holes drilled through it.
  2. Cut the back and the two ends and two dividers from the sheet layouts. Screw them to the floor and to each other every 6 in.
  3. Screw the 2x2 guides to the front edge of every divider and end, in pairs 21 in apart, 30 in tall.
  4. Cut the 2x4 front boards 18.5 in long. They sit flat between each pair of guides, one on top of the other, and lift out from the top.
  5. Set the unit in a cool, dark, damp corner of a basement or garage.

Before you start
