Build steps
Cut the 3/4 in plywood to 48 x 36 in. Drill and jigsaw two 6 x 3 in hand holes 10 in from each end, 22 in up, and sand the edges.
Screw a 2x2 flat along the top and bottom edges on one face.
Paint both faces with exterior paint.
Before you start
A sorting board is a movable gate: you hold it between you and the pigs to turn them. 36 in tall is the minimum for a grower.
It is light enough to carry with one hand, with the other free. Sand every edge: a pig and a splinter do not mix.
